Cat Gym

Four very active kittens and being flooded in can result in a chaotic situation. They were full of energy and needed to release it. And, they had to stay in. We had a porch and a very little bit of front yard. The rest of the surrounding area belonged to the ducks and fish.

So, they chose to make the hall their race track - in the middle of the night. Something had to be done.

They had been climbing up the sides of the two wheeled cart so I decided to get inventive.

I put the cart out in the middle of the living room where they could get to it. Then, I tied a cat toy on a string and then the string to the door knob.

Cats love bags so I put big paper bags out. And, boxes. Thank you, Lord, for boxes. Between the bags and boxes, they were busy for hours - a lot of it sleeping.

I share these ideas with you in defense of your own sanity. They run our homes, but sometimes we deserve some sanity. LOL

Here We Go

This is going to be such fun. It will be very much like my Zoo Animal Encounters except this one is hands on and about my own cats and others that I know.

I have been teased about a cat gym that I put together when we were flooded in. I have found them sleeping in the strangest places. Some of the things they like to eat are truly strange. If you own a cat I suspect you have stories that I have not even heard about.

I will start telling my adventures with cats shortly.
